Hyundai Bayon N Line Revealed at Paris Motor Show 2026: Will It Come to India?
Hyundai India recently took the wraps off its upcoming SUV, the Bayon, for the Indian market. However, Hyundai’s European division has also unveiled the all-new Bayon at the Paris Motor Show 2026, showcasing a sportier N Line version with distinctive styling, enhanced technology and a hybrid powertrain planned for 2027.
While the India-spec model is aimed at the local market, the European-spec Bayon gets a more performance-inspired appearance through the N Line variant. Here is what the new SUV has to offer.

Hyundai Bayon N Line: Sportier Exterior Design
The new Hyundai Bayon adopts a more upright SUV stance, with angular bodywork, pronounced wheel arches and a distinctive horizontal lighting signature. The design follows Hyundai’s Art of Steel philosophy, giving the compact SUV a bolder road presence.
The N Line variant takes the styling further with dedicated front bumper elements, technical mesh detailing, high-gloss black cladding and exclusive 18-inch alloy wheels. At the rear, a diffuser with integrated twin exhaust outlets adds to its sporty appeal.
The SUV also gets an optional black roof and a range of exterior colours, including Vibrant Blue Matte, Ice Blue Matte and Fierce Red Matte.

Interior and Features
Inside, the new Bayon features a modern digital cockpit with two 12.3-inch displays, depending on the variant. The equipment list includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Hyundai Digital Key 2, wireless smartphone charging and an available eight-speaker Bose premium sound system.
Other highlights include an openable panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control and ambient lighting. The N Line version receives dedicated cloth and textile suede seats, adding a sportier touch to the cabin.
Hyundai has also focused on rear-seat comfort, with increased legroom, reclining rear seatbacks, a centre armrest with cupholders and available heated rear seats.
Safety and Driver Assistance
The all-new Bayon offers Hyundai SmartSense driver-assistance technologies, depending on the market and variant. These include Highway Driving Assist 2, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 2, Lane Following Assist 2 and Smart Cruise Control.
A Surround View Monitor and Blind-Spot View Monitor are also available to assist with parking and manoeuvring.

Engine and Hybrid Powertrain
In Europe, the new Hyundai Bayon will be offered with a 1.0-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol engine in 90 PS and 115 PS configurations. Transmission options include a six-speed manual and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic, depending on the version.
A 1.6-litre hybrid powertrain is planned to join the lineup in 2027. It is expected to produce a combined 138 PS and will feature adaptive regenerative braking controlled through steering-wheel paddle shifters.
The European-spec Bayon measures 4,245 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width and has a 2,600 mm wheelbase. Luggage capacity is rated at 440 litres for internal-combustion versions and 397 litres for the hybrid.

Will Hyundai Launch the Bayon N Line in India?
Hyundai has not confirmed the launch of the Bayon N Line in India. While the European unveiling provides a look at the sportier version, its availability in the Indian market remains uncertain.
The European model’s engine options also differ from the announced India-spec configuration, which is expected to feature a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 115 hp, paired with a six-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission.
Whether Hyundai brings the N Line treatment to India will depend on the company’s future product plans. Until an official announcement is made, the European-spec version should not be considered confirmed for the Indian market.
Specifications and features may vary by market. Indian launch details for the Bayon N Line have not been confirmed.
