Honda Elevate Facelift Launched at ₹11.80 Lakh: What’s New?

Team ET October 10, 2026 4 min read

Honda Cars India has launched the facelifted Elevate in India, with prices starting at ₹11.80 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated mid-size SUV receives a revised exterior design, an enhanced cabin and additional convenience and safety features, while retaining its existing petrol engine and transmission options.

The facelift marks the first major update to the Elevate since its introduction in India in 2023. With these changes, Honda aims to strengthen the SUV’s appeal in a competitive segment that includes the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Skoda Kushaq.

Honda Elevate Facelift: Price and Variants

The updated Elevate is available in SV, V, VX, ZX and ZX+ trims, along with a new ZX+ Black Edition. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual gearbox and a CVT automatic, depending on the variant.

Prices start at ₹11.80 lakh for the entry-level SV manual and go up to ₹18.40 lakh for the ZX+ Black CVT, with all prices ex-showroom.

VariantManualCVT Automatic
SV₹11.80 lakhNot available
V₹12.29 lakh₹13.79 lakh

ZX₹15.39 lakh₹16.89 lakh
ZX+₹16.80 lakh₹18.30 lakh
ZX+ Black₹16.90 lakh₹18.40 lakh

The starting price remains unchanged, while the higher variants command a premium over the outgoing model.

Revised Exterior Design Brings a Bolder Look

The facelift retains the Elevate’s familiar proportions but introduces several styling revisions to give it a more distinctive road presence. At the front, the SUV gets a redesigned bold mesh grille with a gloss-black finish and new tri-bar LED position lights. The LED headlamps continue unchanged, while the fog lamp surrounds receive body-coloured detailing.

Honda has also repositioned the front logo to the leading edge of the bonnet, giving the nose a cleaner appearance.

At the rear, a full-width connected LED light signature links the tail-lamps, bringing a more contemporary look. Gloss-black exterior elements add to the SUV’s updated styling, while the 17-inch alloy wheels receive a new diamond-cut finish with a clear-dark treatment.

The facelift also introduces a new Nordic Forest Pearl exterior colour, available in single-tone and dual-tone combinations.

Cabin Gets Ventilated Seats and Additional Convenience Features

Inside, Honda has retained the existing dashboard layout but revised the materials and equipment. The cabin features a new ivory-and-black dual-tone theme, premium leather upholstery and gloss-black elements. Ambient lighting is now factory-fitted on higher variants.

One of the key additions is ventilation for both the front and rear seats, aimed at improving comfort in India’s warm climate. The front seats are also power-adjustable, with eight-way adjustment for the driver and four-way adjustment for the front passenger.

Other additions include a 360-degree surround-view camera, front and rear parking sensors, electrostatic-touch LED cabin lights and USB-C charging ports for front and rear passengers. The CVT variants also receive an electronic parking brake with an auto-hold function.

The existing 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, semi-digital instrument cluster, single-pane sunroof, wireless smartphone charger, smartphone connectivity and six airbags continue to be offered.

Honda Sensing ADAS Gets Low-Speed Follow

The facelift also brings an enhancement to Honda Sensing, the company’s advanced driver assistance system. CVT-equipped variants now feature adaptive cruise control with Low-Speed Follow, designed to help maintain a set distance from the vehicle ahead, including in slower-moving traffic.

The addition of the 360-degree camera and parking sensors further improves visibility and convenience during tight manoeuvres and parking.

Honda has also added sound-deadening material to the cabin, aiming to reduce noise, vibration and harshness for a quieter driving experience.

Engine and Gearbox Options Remain Unchanged

Mechanically, the updated Elevate continues with Honda’s 1.5-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated i-VTEC petrol engine. It produces 89 kW (121 PS)  and 145 Nm of torque and is paired with either a six-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic.

Honda claims fuel efficiency figures of 15.31 km/l for the manual and 16.61 km/l for the CVT. The facelift does not introduce any changes to the engine’s output, and the SUV continues without a strong-hybrid powertrain option.

A Feature-Focused Update for the Mid-Size SUV Segment

The Honda Elevate facelift focuses on improving styling, cabin comfort and everyday usability rather than introducing mechanical changes. Features such as rear-seat ventilation, a 360-degree camera, power-adjustable front seats and enhanced driver assistance broaden its appeal, particularly for buyers looking for additional comfort and convenience.

With the entry-level price unchanged at ₹11.80 lakh, the updated Elevate retains its existing starting point while offering more equipment across the range. Its reception will depend on how effectively these additions help it stand out in India’s crowded mid-size SUV market.
