MG Windsor EV Indulge Edition Launched at ₹17.89 Lakh, Adds Rear-Seat Entertainment Screen
The new special edition gets exclusive Shadow Gold paint, black alloy wheels and a more personalised cabin, while retaining the Windsor EV’s existing powertrain.
JSW MG Motor India has introduced a new special edition of its electric crossover, the MG Windsor EV Indulge Edition, priced at ₹17.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The new version focuses on enhancing the Windsor’s premium appeal with distinctive exterior styling, revised cabin upholstery and additional comfort features, including a screen for rear-seat passengers.
MG Windsor EV Indulge Edition: What’s New?
The Indulge Edition introduces a new Shadow Gold exterior colour paired with a contrasting black roof. The dual-tone finish is complemented by 18-inch black alloy wheels and Indulge badging on the rear quarter glass, distinguishing it from the standard Windsor EV.
The overall design remains unchanged, with the familiar LED lighting, body cladding and blacked-out exterior mirrors carried over from the existing model.

A More Personalised Cabin
Inside, the special edition receives a black-and-tan leatherette upholstery theme, adding a fresh visual touch to the Windsor’s spacious cabin. The front seat headrests feature Indulge embossing, while dedicated cushions and neck pillows for front occupants and pillows for rear passengers further emphasise comfort.
The highlight is the roof-mounted flip-down Prive Screen, designed to entertain rear-seat occupants during journeys. This addition could appeal particularly to buyers who spend considerable time travelling in the rear cabin.
MG has also included an accessory package comprising a rear sunshade, 3D floor mats, chrome grille accents, bumper corner protectors, body-side moulding and a leather key cover.

Battery, Range and Performance
Mechanically, the Windsor EV Indulge Edition remains unchanged. It is offered exclusively with the smaller 38kWh battery pack, paired with a front-mounted electric motor producing 136hp and 200Nm of torque. The claimed driving range stands at 332km on a single charge.
The standard Windsor EV range also includes versions equipped with a larger 52.9kWh battery pack, offering a claimed range of 449km. However, buyers opting for the Indulge Edition will have to make do with the smaller battery.

Price and Positioning
At ₹17.89 lakh (ex-showroom), the MG Windsor EV Indulge Edition sits at the premium end of the smaller-battery lineup. Rather than introducing mechanical enhancements, MG has concentrated on exclusive styling and additional cabin amenities to distinguish the special edition.
This creates an interesting choice for prospective buyers: the Indulge Edition offers a more distinctive appearance and enhanced rear-seat entertainment, while the larger-battery Windsor EV variants prioritise a longer claimed driving range.
With this new edition, MG continues to build on the Windsor EV’s comfort-focused positioning, adding a more personalised cabin experience without altering the fundamentals of its electric crossover.
